Movie Trailer – Team HSM Investigates…

Well after the toxic spillage today in the school playground (just a pretend one!), we decided to create a movie! We spent the morning planning out the storyline, then we wrote the script. By the afternoon it was time to get the cameras rolling, so we went out to film! A huge thanks to Sammy A for being a fantastic cameraman!

Here’s the trailer for our movie…

  1. Wow!! Steven Spielberg watch your back! That is very scary! I would go to watch it! Better actors than the cast of Harry Potter!

  2. This is AWESOME!!! You have done EXACTLY what a trailer should do. It’s nearly 11pm and I should be in bed but I’m now thinking about your movie and when I will get to see it!

  3. Wow, what a scary film, I am not sure I will be able to sleep tonight…..although I desperately want to find more about this toxic robot. You must have had so much fun creating this and I cannot wait to show my class. It is so good I want to use it in one of my literacy lessons. I will ask your teacher if it is okay for your work to be used to help my class become better writers. Well done to Ash Class on simply stunning work.

  9. Well that is a brilliant trailer, when’s the film coming out? The trailer really drew me in and teased me as a good trailer should. You have done an amazing job.

  10. Hello Ash Class,

This is brilliant. You have discovered some good techniques to heighten the suspense in films. Black and white clips with suspenseful music help emphasise tension in a scene. The use of shaky fonts add further to the tension.
