So, Year 5 at IST have been making and using their paper fortune tellers. You might be wishing you could have a go with them too.
Well you can – sort of.
We created a Google spreadsheet which has many of our predictions on it.
Now you can use this to see how you will do in the school year ahead.
First pick a colour: RED BLUE YELLOW or GREEN
Once you’ve chosen your colour, choose a number between 2 and 15.
Have you chosen?
Now you’re ready to try our Virtual Paper Fortune Teller.
Just one thing before you do. The Virtual Paper Fortune Teller was designed for Year 5 children, that’s children between 9 and 10 years old. It was also calibrated for children at the International School of Toulouse. It will work for you if you’re not that age or in that school, but you will need to adapt it to your own circumstances.
Have you still got that colour and number?
OK. Here we go…
Click on the picture below. Look in the column that’s the colour you chose and along the row that’s the number you chose. That’s your prediction.
Oh, and one other thing. Your future is not fixed. You can change what happens, making it better than you thought it might be for instance, by what you do. But that’s obvious.

Wow! I love the fortune tellers and they brought back lovely memories. I used to make these at school with my friends (in Devon, England in the early 1970′s). I must confess that yours look much more professional and really colourful but then they were a bit mean with the coloured pens in our school. We also had quite a few wet playtimes when we ended up with something closley resembling coloured papier mache!
Thank you for reminding me of some fun times I had forgotten. Nicola

Hello guys,
C’est merveilleux. I can see how much work has gone into preparing your post for Passing the Blog.
For many people life is a matter of chance therefore a fortune decided by the chances of picking a colour and number falls into their beliefs. For those who believe life isn’t a matter of chance but a guided pathway through a destined future, they would believe the colour and number chosen were always meant to be. Either way, they would have fun using your fortune teller.
Well done!
